As a small team we were very short on resources as the demands of the event ramped up we engaged Pace to manage our twitter activity at a number of key events including The EU Climate KIC Annual Climate Innovation Summit in Dublin Castle. Pace did an incredible job for us at all events. With a minimal brief she understood our corporate voice and relayed it effectively through twitter. With Pace ‘driving’ our twitter account our #ClimateWeekIreland trended in Dublin. We were delighted with all interactions and engagements that Pace made online on our behalf. Pace’s time at akg-images coincided with a period of dramatic change within the book publishing industry, both in the restructuring of many of our clients’ companies and in the development of a vast array of new digital products. Pace was tasked with researching, developing and implementing from scratch a number of new policies about the use of our copyright material on electronic platforms. These policies have proven to be very successful and have been used as a reference by our sister offices in Berlin and Paris. A lot of Pace’s work involved tough negotiations with our large publishing accounts, as she was directly responsible for managing those accounts and for updating, discussing and agreeing new price agreements. The agreements she reached have proven to be lucrative for us as a company as well as fair to the photographers and agencies we represent. Pace also represented us in the UK, USA and Ireland at client visits and trade fairs, and her outgoing, friendly personality was an undeniable benefit to akg-images.
